Today is the Gumbo cook off in town so I thought I’d share some gumbo photos, I’ll be back with a recipe a little later for my chicken, sausage and andouille gumbo recipe. There are lots of steps but nothing difficult about cooking a good gumbo!
Oh MY, ms. V.......a yankee ain't evah had gumbo like ms. katy makes it! Sorry, but that's just plain fact. You'd die if you ever ate it in the south. Ok, ms. L....now c has your website and he's following your recipes with abandon. He made the bean soup today and has already remarked on your gumbo!! Do a seafood one next....I'm dying for a good seafood gumbo!!!!!!!

OMG, I am so hungry right now. I desperately want gumbo. I was craving it last week, and had to make do with a yankee version. Ugh.

heheh...altho, I should add, my boyfriend makes a pretty mean gumbo, hisownself!!
