Good Morning Honey!

This morning I woke up and got Kali ready for school, her mom brought her over very early and she was tucked into bed with Alexa until around 6:35 when she woke me and asked to get dressed and have breakfast. She wanted pancakes and thats what she got! Once she was out of the door with Aunt Val and on the way to school, I made myself a little cup of Wild Raspberry tea, I love the stuff, ever since Debbie introduced me to it a few months ago.

I heard Dave getting up and starting his shower, in the time it takes for him to shower and dress I have just enough time to whip up a yummy breakfast. This morning I set his place at the table with dishes he chose when we were shopping one day in Lafayette, now don’t get me wrong, he’s not ‘into’ dishware, but since I dragged him into the store he noticed these as I was shopping, they are very masculine and lovely all the same. I cooked a little ham which I cut into tiny strips, sauteed some mushrooms, peeled and sliced a little fresh orange from the orchard, made light fluffy eggs and a few toast points with grape jelly. In this photo you can see he’s waiting patiently for me to take a few photos before he digs in.

Just a few more honey!

He didn’t quite eat all of it, in his words “I’m trying to eat until I’m full and not clean the plate'”. Its a tough thing to do, but I totally respect and understand that. Next time I’ll have to eat a whole toast rather than just sneaking a half! ;)

Larson doesn't quite look awake in that photo. Looks like a yummy breakfast. This morning we had smothered potatoes and scrambled eggs. So yummy.

Your eggs do look a little pale.

That would be because I didn't get any of the home grown type you get from our Daddy. You best be careful girlie, I'm gonna work on him and you'll be getting half of what you're used to getting.
