Last night Kali’s kindergarten celebration took place at St. Edward’s Church right behind her school. Kali is the one with the big burgandy bow right in the middle of the photo. She and her class sang some beautiful songs for the ceremony.
I arrived a little bit late and didn’t capture a very special event at the graduation because I was shooting a family portrait, so I had Kali pose outside in front of church with her special award. The spirit award is given to one child per class who exemplifies the spirit of St. Katherine Drexel, the patron saint and founder of her school. Kali received this award for her classroom. We’re so very proud of her for this wonderful acknowledgement, it is indeed very special.
