This morning while Kali is participating in her sixth year dance recital I am babysitting little Caroline, she’s napping at the moment and it gives me a bit of time to post a few photos I shot of Kali that were taken the day of her dance class photos. I took these at home after putting a little makeup on her and a fixing her hair. She’s just adorable in them and I know she’s having a fun day. Dave and I are attending the afternoon performance and can’t wait to watch her.
This past week Alex and Elijah had a tea party with their fellow pre K classmates at SES, it was held in the parish hall of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and the boys enjoyed it. They were OK with escorting their little friend Edith, who was adorable in her lavender dress and flower in her hair, and they liked the refreshments, the dancing… not so much. Eli gave it a shot with the first little dance, then hung out with his buddies on the dance floor watching everything going on around him, Alex opted to hang out with his Honey (Claire’s mom) on the sidelines. We shot a bunch of adorable photos, here are the highlights.

I created this layout featuring Alex and Elijah at their SES Mardi Gras performance at the PTO meeting. They sang and marched to the Mardi Gras Mambo. I photographed them with their Pop and they were all just too cute in their purple and green polo shirts!

With Easter coming just a few weeks away, I was scrapping and looking back at some photos of the grandkids from Easter 2012. We sure had a wonderful day with our families and I’ve created a few layouts of the grands with me in the photo! Imagine that, once upon a time I would never, but I’m realizing that more and more as time goes by, they may want a few images of me with them once in a while to look back at in years to come. I am working on catching up on documenting Caroline’s growth and development. She sure is getting big fast, at nine months she’s pulling up and walking around the furniture and anything else she can grab onto. Wednesday afternoon Kali, Alex and Eli enjoyed the Mardi Gras parade at SES. Kali walked in the parade around the block and Alex and Eli caught lots of beads and some special doubloons. Caroline and I went along for the fun and she had a great time seeing her big sister and the twins, she got a neck full of beads as well and loved them.
The twins had a fun night at the St. Edward’s PTO meeting, they performed a few Mardi Gras songs with their SES Pre-K classmates and waved their napkins in the traditional Mardi Gras Mambo.

My girl just wanted to play with her babies today, she cooed to them and chewed on their little fists and snuggled them too. She’s napping now and I’m just uploading a few fun photos of her while she played this morning.
Kali was beside herself with excitement about going to school today, she loves footie pajamas and today is Pajama Day! I shot a few photos before school today and got one of her holding Caroline in her footie pjs too. I hope you have a fabulous day Kali, keep warm and study hard!
I captured this photo of our four adorable little grandchildren on Christmas Eve, their smiles light up my world and I can’t imagine life without them all! Love these four kiddos!
On Monday, January 7, my sister Debbie and her husband Normand welcomed another little sweetheart into our family. He was 6 pounds and 6 ounces and a little bit over 18 inches long and oh so sweet! His name is Jack Gabriel and he’s a little angel!
Such a little angel… can’t wait to snuggle with this little guy!

Caroline has been fussy with a head cold lately and she just wasn’t napping well at all, Krista decided to use the swaddler to bundle her for her naps and to sleep at night and I tell you it sure does work! She’s catching Zzzzzs like nobody’s business today! Here’s a sweet photo I snapped of her, just one shot, with a little soft diffused flash, so stinkin’ sweet!
