Last Friday Kali dressed in an Egyptian costume and attended Holy Mass at SES to celebrate the feast day and anniversary of St. Katharine Drexel. She is the patron Saint and founder of St. Edward’s School and promoted education of minority American children, especially black and native Americans. The children were encouraged to dress in the costume of children of the world and Kali chose Egypt.
Kali’s Godmother Alexa went to Mass and took this photo with Kali after she changed into her school uniform to go to class.
One of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament spoke to the children on this special occasion. To read more about St. Katharine Drexel click HERE.
