Easter Sunday Family

After Mass on Easter Sunday the kids came over to the house for lunch and the grandkiddies had a blast with their Easter treats and surprises.

Kali’s First Holy Communion

Yesterday Kali made her First Holy Communion at the same little country church that her Mama, Pop, Godparents and Aunt Erica did. She was a vision in white wearing the same veil I made for her Mama many years ago. It suited her perfectly, just as it did Krista when she was eight years old.

She read the second reading during Holy Mass and did a wonderful job, we’re so proud of you Kali!

Sweet Caroline

This summer we will be welcoming a new member to our family. Our daughter Krista and her husband Zach are expecting a sweet baby girl. Kali is so excited about being an older sister and Ian will be a first rate brother, protecting and guiding his new baby sister along in life.

I’ve been working on decorating the nursery/office in our home to welcome our sweet baby Caroline Ann. Alexa and cousin Lauren put up the baby crib/changing table over the weekend and it is lovely.

 

All things sweet baby girl pink and lacy are ready and waiting for her arrival in mid June 2012 and we couldn’t be more excited!

Broadway Dec 2011

Shabby Miss Jenn so lovingly created a NEW YORK kit and that has been the encouragement I needed to create an album with my pictures from our trip last December! Here’s the first of many to come!

Erica and Alexa out in the Big Apple in December 2011. The girls loved everything about the plays we went to while visiting in New York City. What a wonderful time we all shared!

Friday Fun

I had the pleasure of having Kali, Alex and Eli for the day on Friday. Oddly enough the only time I took out my camera is when the twins were napping and Kali was reading. A few photos of our day.

 

Before lunch and their naps the three of them spent some time doing crafts and art projects. Kali led the boys in choosing some fun and colorful projects.

Kali read a few books while the twins slept then we made a little fruit snack for them. They took it with them when Erica got home and they all went to Davey and Claire’s new home to play on the swing set and the zip line.

Fresh tulips from the market and our fruit salad make a pretty table top display. ;)

Disney Wear

For our upcoming trip to Disney World Krista and I ordered custom t-shirts from Monique at M&N Designs. They came out adorable, were delivered really quickly (literally just a few days after the order was taken) and they are perfect! Thanks for the great service and beautiful work Monique! St. Valentine’s Day Surprise!

Tonight after our Valentine night pizza with Kali, Alex and Eli, Pop and I are going to pop in this DVD and watch it with the kiddies.

Then we will surprise them each with a Mickey/Minnie stuffed animal holding their Valentine’s Day gift from us.

5 Days in Disney World!

There’s one for each of them ;)

I think we’ll have some pretty excited little munchkins on our hands after its all said and done! Look out Florida … here we come!

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Hearts

Happy Valentines Day!

Kali and Krista came over on Sunday afternoon prepared for her Valentine’s Day photo shoot. She brought an adorable tutu and sparkly red shoes, I had picked up the Valentine heart candy for Pop (shhhh, I haven’t given it to him yet!) and we took some adorable photos of her! Here’s the cute little VDay card we came up with for her to share at school and religion classes.

Puppy Love

Sweet Baby Girl’s Closet

Our daughter Krista and her husband are expecting their first baby and its a sweet little girl. Krista and I are working on the nursery closet and we’re going to be using these to organize her little wardrobe. I created them using Shabby Miss Jenn Designs “BEE MINE” Valentine’s day scrapbooking kit and I love how they came out.

  We had to put a little section for her LSU clothing she’s already received as Christmas gifts! Some of these sweet baby clothes are from her big sister Kali’s newborn wardrobe, it will be so sweet to see her little sister dressed in them!
