Summer Memories (the layout)

Created using Shabby Miss Jenn's Little Kahuna's kit. I'm enjoying scrapping these photos from the beach so much. If you're interested in learning how easy it is to do yourownself, just let me know and I'll give you the lowdown on scrapping with Fotofusion from Lumapix with easy digital scrapbooking kits like the ones I use from Shabby Miss Jenn.

Beach Portraits

While on our vacation at the beach I had the opportunity to shoot a few family beach portrait sessions. Once with Kali and Krista and another day with Davey and his family, Erica and Kali. I have already printed and framed Davey's family portrait and one of Erica and Kali, they all came out lovely, I just have to get Krista to choose one of her and Kali to frame and hang in their home. I'll be uploading lots more in the next few weeks and I have a ton of fun photos to scrap as well. Enjoy!

Shadow Boxes on the Jump Layout

I totally forgot to document where I got the shadow boxes I used in creating the Jump layout when I posted the layout to my galleries. It was created by Shabby Miss Jenn for her Spring Junk Pile element kit just a few months ago. I resized them to make them a bit more square and sepia toned for my layout. I used the box in the layout below also, but left it in its original shape/size. Most of the elements on this layout are from the Spring Junk Pile element kit as well.

JUMP!

This is a scraplift of the fabulous Nevache/Gerarda, she's my scrapping icon! I adore everything she does, when I'm stumped on a new design, I scraplift her work and the creative juices start flowing! Her layout is rockin!

The Girls

All the girls are having a wonderful time on vacation! Our trip to the pool this evening was just too much fun! Kali loves taking pictures with her favorite aunts and friend Kelly.

Guess who's sitting up on their own?

Our sweet boys are sitting alone at the age of six months! They're getting to be such big boys and they sure are enjoying being upright on their own! They love it! The second pic is of the boys in their little duckie and monkey beach wraps. They're just too cute, Alex is wearing the duckie and Eli's in the monkey one. Their afternoon swim was a whole lot of fun too this evening! The last pic is of the whole little family. Claire, Davey, Eli and Alex in the pool.

The bubbas and lil miss went out to the pool at around 7:30 this morning when the sun was down and the water was already warm. Alex and Eli loved walking around in their little floaties. They could both touch the bottom in the kiddie area since the water was only 1.5 to 2.5 feet deep.

SMJ Freebie and Webkinz Layout

Kali just loves her webkinz and she adores playing on the webkinz site. I created a layout with a pic of her and Riley doing just that this morning on the computer and laptop. Its fun that can be shared with friends!

Today was our first full day with the whole family on our summer vacation. The boys had their first experience with the pool and water toys and they loved it! The water was just right and their little shade floats Lolli and Pop got them were perfect to keep their sensitive skin out of the brutal heat of the sun. Alex, Eli and Kali had a wonderful day!

Perdido Key, Alabama is simply fun and relaxing! Here are photos of the family at the pool. We had a few beautiful days, despite the fact that we got a drizzle this afternoon and a crazy late afternoon rain and windstorm yesterday! More photos to come in the next few weeks! I'm also including a layout with our lil Kali. Enjoy!

Mr. Personality

While Alex was napping I had a chance to shoot a few new photos of Elijah James. He was just as happy as a lark, he was supposed to be going down for a nap, but he was just too excited to sleep. He must be getting excited about vacation ;)

Afternoon Delight

This afternoon after a good long nap (2 hours) and draining their bottles, the boys went onto their blanket for a little tummy time and playing with their toys. They both love this little 'driving' toy and have no problem sharing it. They're having a fun afternoon together with Kali at our house while Mom and Dad work.

This morning... Happy Boys!

The boys are here! They're getting so big and are so happy! After a few days of the boys being a bit fussy ... they had such a busy long weekend and it makes them cranky til they re-adjust to their regular programmed schedule. Anyway, they're both back to their happy selves! Here's a pic of the two of them playing in their bumbos (Aunt Alexa is making them laugh and Kali is entertaining them!) Have a happy day!

Kali Celebrates the 4th

Kali went to the 4th of July celebration at Avery Island again this year and enjoyed the festivities and fireworks display that McIlhenny & Tabasco host, it was a fun filled day for everyone. She came over to visit in the morning for a bit and I snapped a few shots of her in her RW&B clothes. She's a 4th of July cutie for sure! Click on the image to see a larger version and layout credits.
