Since we went to my sister's house for a wonderful party last night we decided to stay in tonight. We've watched LSU take down Georia 38 to 3 in the Chick-fil-A bowl held in the Georgia Dome and enjoyed a few pineapple martinis. I scrapped a few layouts today that I want to share with all of you. Click on the layouts to see credits. I'm creating a new template set with these new layouts and will have more samples to show you soon!

I found adorable bag templates by Kelleigh Ratzlaff and love how they came out. I'll be putting some little New Year's treats in it for Kali next week. I can't wait to make more of them! The kit is Summer Posies by Shabby Miss Jenn. Click on the image to see a larger version of the photo.
I really loved decorating for Christmas this year. After finding gorgeous Fitz and Floyd dishes in red and white at Dillards last year I decided to keep the red and white theme going and went a little nuts with it! Everything I saw this year was in red and white and I mixed and matched some lovely pieces! I hope you and yours had a very Merry Christmas and we all look forward to a Happy New Year! Paren Davey and Pop worked really hard to make one of Kali's Christmas wishes come true. Kris planned an outstanding surprise for Kali and it sure did just that. She was so excited and impressed with her new two story playhouse, complete with little kitchen, dining area, princess dress up area, reading corner, stairs and upstairs bedroom. Here are a few photos of Kali in her favorite new place to play in the whole wide world. She declared that she needed a broom to keep it tidy and a rug for the front door. Other than that its just perfect!
Last night on Christmas Eve we went to Granny's house for a little party with Dave's family. We ate delicious gumbo that Granny made along with lots of other delicious snacks and desserts. Erica made a yummy potato salad that everyone enjoyed tremendously! Kali's gift from Lolli and Pop was a lovely little tea set for two, I bet she and Anna Claire are going to enjoy lots of tea parties together!
Davey, Claire, Alex and Eli along with Krista, Zach and Kali came over to spend the Tuesday evening with us. We had a wonderful spaghetti supper (the boy's favorite) and lovely appetizers and snacks. Granny also came over to spend time with the family. The little ones opened their presents from Lolli, Pop, Alexa and Erica, they really loved their gifts and had a fun time playing with them while the big kids opened their gifts too. Here are a few photos of our evening with the family.
Our three girls are all finished with their phases of braces and their smiles are so bright and shiny! Dr. Buddy Donaldson did a wonderful job of straightening and making their bites just beautiful! Merry Christmas to our three beautiful daughters, Krista, Erica and Alexa.

The other night when we got back from having Chinese food for supper with the boys they played in their swings for a little while before going inside for bottles, bath and bed time. They love their swings and get so excited that Daddy had to install safety straps so they wouldn't fall out of them!

When I asked her to take a photo of her little outfit, this is the pose she gave me. But when I asked for a photo of her... the results are below. ;) She knows the difference!
I was greeted this morning bright and early by one very excited little girl, Kali's attending her first 'big girl school' Christmas Party!! She came over early to pick up her pretty red shoes and have photos taken by the tree, she also wanted to ask Pop if he wanted to go to lunch with her at SES. Lolli and Pop will be going to lunch with Kali today and Lolli will be going to morning mass with her at school too. Its going to be a fun and memorable day for Kali girl!

I had fun creating these gift box labels for Kali's school gifts. The boxes were purchased at Walmart in the craft section and are by Martha Stewart Crafts, I just wanted to personalise them with a photo of Kali. I used Mary Fran's adorable Christmas kit called Beary Christmas which can be found at http://www.nitwitcollections.com/
Now I'm off to do some Christmas shopping! Have a fabulous day!
Yes, you read it right, yesterday morning it snowed in deep south Louisiana! Kali was excited to have a play day with Riley instead of going to school. They played in the snow for a few minutes before it started raining and loved it. I have a photo here of my niece JoJo who lives in Lafayette and they got a lot more snow than we did, they were able to actually build a snowman, he was a bit leafy but that was just fine with her! At our house the ground was too wet for it to accumulate, except for on the house, mailbox, automobiles and tractor. I've included a few photos here for your enjoyment. Have a super day!

The other night when Bub and the boys came over for a little gumbo supper I shot a few photos of them together on the sofa. They're all just too cute with their matching red shirts.

We don't have many extra cold days here in South Louisiana, but when we do, we're sure to stay inside, get cozy and Kali loves watching Christmas movies and shows. For Thanksgiving Lolli got her Barbie's Christmas Story and she is really enjoying it. Layout details can be found by clicking on the layout above. Shabby Miss Jenn's beautifully designed Snowy Days kit is featured in this layout.
